El test de \u201cscore c\u00e1lcico o determinaci\u00f3n del calcio en las arterias coronarias\u201d, es una prueba diagn\u00f3stica muy \u00fatil para predecir el riesgo de sufrir un problema cardiovascular card\u00edaco, fundamentalmente infarto agudo de miocardio o angina de pecho<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

La prueba consiste en la realizaci\u00f3n de un TAC de alta definici\u00f3n, para ello contamos en nuestro hospital de Cartagena con el TAC SIEMENS SOMATON GO<\/a>, de 128 cortes por segundo. No es necesaria la administraci\u00f3n de contraste y tiene una duraci\u00f3n inferior a los cinco minutos.<\/p>\n

No requiere de ning\u00fan tipo de preparaci\u00f3n precia sin estar en ayunas, ni an\u00e1lisis previo.<\/p>\n

Las im\u00e1genes se procesan con un software avanzado y son interpretadas por radi\u00f3logos expertos en ello, con lo que se obtiene un resultado cuantificado de la existencia o no, y en caso de existir, de la cantidad de calcio depositado en las arterias coronarias.<\/p>\n

Con estos datos, el cardi\u00f3logo puede predecir el riesgo objetivo de sufrir cardiopat\u00eda isqu\u00e9mica en los siguientes a\u00f1os, y puede aplicar las medidas terap\u00e9uticas preventivas que eviten esta patolog\u00eda tan frecuente en nuestros d\u00edas.<\/p>\n

As\u00ed mismo y a juicio facultativo y para completar los estudios, se puede realizar una coronariograf\u00eda<\/a>, con la administraci\u00f3n de contraste y se tendr\u00eda un estudio exhaustivo de la situaci\u00f3n de las arterias coronarias y poder efectuar los tratamientos oportunos en caso de ser necesario.<\/p>\n

Para su realizaci\u00f3n solamente hay que pedir cita para prescripci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica y ese mismo d\u00eda se realiza la prueba en el servicio de radiodiagn\u00f3stico<\/a> del hospital CMVCaridad<\/a> de Cartagena.<\/p>\n

El \u201cTAC DE SCORE CALCICO\u201d es una prueba muy \u00fatil que incluso deber\u00eda ser introducida en todos los chequeos m\u00e9dicos como una manera f\u00e1cil, r\u00e1pida y efectiva de evaluar la posibilidad de sufrir un infarto.<\/p>\n
