En este art\u00edculo, repasamos los efectos de la exposici\u00f3n continuada a las pantallas.<o:p><\/o:p><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">La vista se cansa despu\u00e9s de varias horas frente al ordenador (generalmente, m\u00e1s de 6-8 horas), <span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">&nbsp;<\/span>y se produce la conocida como <b style=\"mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;\">fatiga ocular,<\/b> por el esfuerzo continuado que supone para la vista enfocar cerca durante un periodo largo de tiempo y debido tambi\u00e9n a problemas derivados<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">&nbsp; <\/span>de la colocaci\u00f3n de los equipos en los lugares de trabajo (condiciones de iluminaci\u00f3n, ventilaci\u00f3n, etc.). A pesar de que peque\u00f1os defectos de graduaci\u00f3n nos permitan alcanzar agudezas visuales normales, en ocasiones es recomendable corregirlos para evitar sobreesfuerzo y la aparici\u00f3n de la fatiga ocular.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><o:p><\/o:p><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Adem\u00e1s de este cansancio de la vista, se produce en muchos casos <b style=\"mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;\">irritaci\u00f3n y sequedad ocular<\/b>, normalmente por la disminuci\u00f3n de tiempo de parpadeo cuando estamos frente al ordenador o dispositivo electr\u00f3nico (podemos pasar de una frecuencia de parpadeo normal de 12-18 por minuto a 4-6). El uso de colirios ayuda a aliviar esta sequedad.
