{"id":1902,"date":"2015-01-21T00:42:00","date_gmt":"2015-01-21T00:42:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cardiosalus.com\/consumir-cereales-integrales-reduce-la-mortalidad-cardiovascular\/"},"modified":"2015-01-21T00:42:00","modified_gmt":"2015-01-21T00:42:00","slug":"consumir-cereales-integrales-reduce-la-mortalidad-cardiovascular","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/riberasalud.com\/cardiosalus\/blog\/consumir-cereales-integrales-reduce-la-mortalidad-cardiovascular\/","title":{"rendered":"Consumir cereales integrales reduce la mortalidad cardiovascular"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"seccion-texto\">Consumir cereales integrales habitualmente se asocia a una mayor longevidad, ya que su ingesta disminuye la mortalidad general y, sobre todo, la tasa de\u00a0<strong>muerte cardiovascular<\/strong>, seg\u00fan un nuevo estudio realizado por un grupo de investigadores de\u00a0<span lang=\"en\">Harvard School of Public Health<\/span>\u00a0(<abbr title=\"Estados Unidos\">EEUU<\/abbr>).<\/p>\n<p class=\"seccion-texto\">Este estudio demuestra que por cada 28 gramos de cereales integrales consumidos se reduce un 5 por ciento la tasa de mortalidad total y un 9 por ciento la mortalidad cardiovascular.<\/p>\n<p class=\"seccion-texto\">El trabajo, del que se hace eco la Sociedad Espa\u00f1ola de Cardiolog\u00eda(SEC) y ha sido publicado en la revista &#8216;JAMA Internal Medicine&#8217;, se sustenta en el hecho de que los cereales integrales no refinados y conservan la parte\u00a0<strong>rica en fibra\u00a0<\/strong>que ralentiza la absorci\u00f3n de az\u00facares y ayuda a disminuir el colesterol en la sangre.<br \/>\nLos investigadores han analizado la asociaci\u00f3n existente entre una\u00a0<strong>dieta regular<\/strong>\u00a0rica en cereales integrales (trigo, avena, cebada, centeno, arroz) y el riesgo de mortalidad total y mortalidad cardiovascular. Para ello, se han estudiado los datos procedentes de dos trabajos de investigaci\u00f3n de seguimiento prospectivo a largo plazo realizados sobre una muestra de pacientes libres de\u00a0<strong>enfermedad cardiovascular<\/strong>\u00a0y de c\u00e1ncer.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"seccion-titulo-3\">El beneficio de la fibra<\/h3>\n<p class=\"seccion-texto\">Los cereales integrales al no haber sido sometidos a un\u00a0<strong>proceso de refinamiento<\/strong>\u00a0conservan todas las partes que conforman el grano del cereal: el salvado, la c\u00e1scara externa que protege la semilla; el germen, embri\u00f3n que hay dentro de la semilla; y el endospermo, que constituye la parte m\u00e1s abundante del grano del cereal y la principal fuente de alimentaci\u00f3n cuando la planta empieza a nacer del germen.<br \/>\nLos cereales\u00a0<strong>no refinados<\/strong>\u00a0poseen mayor n\u00famero de nutrientes (vitaminas y minerales) y proporcionan una de las mayores fuentes de fibra que tenemos, esta es la raz\u00f3n por la cual son tan saludables, ya que la fibra ayuda a ralentizar la digesti\u00f3n y previene los aumentos peligrosos de los niveles de az\u00facar en sangre.<\/p>\n<p class=\"seccion-texto\">Por tanto, la<strong>\u00a0Fundaci\u00f3n Espa\u00f1ola del Coraz\u00f3n<\/strong>\u00a0(FEC) recomienda, en l\u00ednea con las gu\u00edas de diet\u00e9tica y nutrici\u00f3n, que al menos se consuman cuatro raciones (200 gr.) de cereales al d\u00eda y que, al menos, una raci\u00f3n (50 gr.) sea de cereales integrales.<\/p>\n<p class=\"seccion-conclusion\">Cardiosalus siempre con la medicina preventiva, la buena alimentaci\u00f3n y en la vida cardiosaluble.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Consumir cereales integrales habitualmente se asocia a una mayor longevidad, ya que su ingesta disminuye la mortalidad general y, sobre todo, la tasa de\u00a0muerte cardiovascular, seg\u00fan un nuevo estudio realizado por un grupo de investigadores de\u00a0Harvard School of Public Health\u00a0(EEUU).
