Dada la elevada prevalencia de estas dos patolog\u00edas, la enfermedad del\u00a0<strong>h\u00edgado graso<\/strong>\u00a0no alcoh\u00f3lico se ha convertido tambi\u00e9n en un problema de salud que afecta a millones de personas en todo el mundo, pues la acumulaci\u00f3n de grasa en el h\u00edgado constituye el primer estadio de la NAFLD.<\/p>\n<p class=\"seccion-texto\">Los probi\u00f3ticos son bacterias o levaduras (vivas, muertas o incluso componentes de \u00e9stas) que confieren\u00a0<strong>efectos saludables<\/strong>\u00a0a la persona que las toma en cantidades adecuadas. Pueden encontrarse en alimentos como el yogur, k\u00e9fir, yogur de soja, tempeh o miso, o bien en forma de suplementos.<br \/>\nLos investigadores de la Universidad de Granada, han demostrado que la administraci\u00f3n durante 30 d\u00edas de tres cepas de probi\u00f3ticos* a ratas obesas, disminuye la acumulaci\u00f3n de grasa en el h\u00edgado.<\/p>\n<p class=\"seccion-texto\">La administraci\u00f3n de los\u00a0<strong>probi\u00f3ticos<\/strong>\u00a0produjo una acumulaci\u00f3n de l\u00edpidos (mayoritariamente triacilgliceroles) en el h\u00edgado significativamente menor que la que tuvo lugar en ratas alimentadas con un placebo. En las ratas que tomaron probi\u00f3ticos se observ\u00f3 tambi\u00e9n unos valores menores en suero de mol\u00e9culas proinflamatorias (factor de necrosis tumoral-a, interleuquina-6 y lipopolisac\u00e1rido).<br \/>\nTal como se\u00f1alan los investigadores, la enfermedad hep\u00e1tica no se curar\u00e1 con probi\u00f3ticos, pero estos microorganismos s\u00ed pueden servir como\u00a0<strong>terapia coadyuvante<\/strong>\u00a0a otros tratamientos, incluido el diet\u00e9tico.<\/p>\n<p class=\"seccion-conclusion\">Una buena ayuda ser\u00eda reducir el consumo de grasas saturadas y az\u00facares simples y aumentar el consumo de legumbres, cereales, pescado, frutos secos, fruta y verdura.<\/p>\n<p class=\"seccion-texto\">*Lactobacillus paracasei CNCM I-4034, Bifidobacterium breve CNCM I-4035 y Lactobacillus rhamnosus CNCM I-4036.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Este estudio, publicado en la\u00a0revista PLOS ONE, supone un importante avance en la lucha contra la enfermedad del h\u00edgado graso no alcoh\u00f3lico, asociada a la obesidad y a la diabetes (conocida como NAFDL por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s).
