Antes de comenzar el estudio las participantes estuvieron dos semanas sin consumir ni tomate ni soja. Despu\u00e9s, las mujeres comieron a diario productos que inclu\u00edan como m\u00ednimo 25 miligramos de licopeno durante un periodo de diez semanas. Y durante otro periodo, tambi\u00e9n de dos semanas, comieron 40 gramos diarios de prote\u00edna de soja.<\/p>\n<p class=\"seccion-texto\">Los investigadores comprobaron que cuando las voluntarias siguieron la dieta rica en tomate subieron un 9% sus niveles de adiponectina, una hormona involucrada en la regulaci\u00f3n de los\u00a0<strong>niveles de grasa<\/strong>\u00a0y az\u00facar en sangre.
