A esta conclusi\u00f3n se ha llegado tras volver a analizar un estudio norteamericano sobre h\u00e1bitos diet\u00e9ticos que inclu\u00eda, nada m\u00e1s y nada menos, que a 6831 personas. Los resultados obtenidos han sido llamativos: aquellos que tomaban\u00a0<strong>dietas hiperprot\u00e9icas<\/strong>\u00a0(que supone tomar m\u00e1s del 20% de las calor\u00edas ingeridas en forma de prote\u00edna) incrementaron en 4 las posibilidades de morir por c\u00e1ncer o\u00a0<strong>diabetes<\/strong>. Por el contrario, en el caso de personas mayores de 65 a\u00f1os el efecto fue totalmente distinto pues aquellos que tomaban este tipo de dietas gozaban de una mejor salud.<\/p>\n<p class=\"seccion-texto\">En ambos estudios se deja claro que estos efectos se observan siempre que dichas\u00a0<strong>prote\u00ednas<\/strong>\u00a0sean de origen animal, por lo que es importante rese\u00f1ar que las prote\u00ednas vegetales (legumbres, frutos secos y cereales) no tienen estos efectos. Se advierte de este modo a la poblaci\u00f3n que comer a diario mucha prote\u00edna animal puede tener efectos nada deseables. Con estos hallazgos se obtienen m\u00e1s argumentos, junto a los ya existentes, que demuestran lo perjudiciales que pueden llegar a ser en la edad adulta las famosas dietas hiperprot\u00e9icas como\u00a0<strong>Dunkan y Atkins.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ambos estudios han sido publicados en la revista\u00a0Cell Metabolism\u00a0y han sido llevados a cabo por dos grupos de investigaci\u00f3n distintos.
