{"id":556,"date":"2011-08-22T16:43:28","date_gmt":"2011-08-22T16:43:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.blogdesalud.riberasalud.com\/?p=556"},"modified":"2011-08-22T16:43:28","modified_gmt":"2011-08-22T16:43:28","slug":"el-dr-paulo-amado-especialista-en-protesis-de-tobillo-presente-en-una-jornada-organizada-por-el-hospital-de-torrevieja","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/riberasalud.com\/blog-de-salud\/el-dr-paulo-amado-especialista-en-protesis-de-tobillo-presente-en-una-jornada-organizada-por-el-hospital-de-torrevieja\/","title":{"rendered":"El Dr. Paulo Amado, especialista en pr\u00f3tesis de tobillo, presente en una jornada organizada por el Hospital de Torrevieja"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El viernes pasado el <strong>Hospital de Torrevieja<\/strong> acogi\u00f3 al <strong>Doctor\u00a0 Paulo Amado<\/strong>, reconocido especialista en ortopedia y traumatolog\u00eda, y profesor en la Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud de la Universidad Fernando Pessoa; qui\u00e9n realiz\u00f3 una <strong>jornada de intervenciones de tobillo<\/strong> como profesional invitado por la direcci\u00f3n del hospital.<\/p>\n<p>Y es que concretamente el Dr. Amado es experto en <strong>intervenciones de pr\u00f3tesis de tobillo<\/strong>, que si las comparamos con las pr\u00f3tesis de rodilla y cadera, tienen unas indicaciones mucho m\u00e1s concretas y especificas.<\/p>\n<p>Las operaciones efectuadas por el Dr. Amado en el Hospital de Torrevieja han facilitado que los profesionales quir\u00fargicos conozcan, de la mano de un gran especialista, el funcionamiento de estas precisas t\u00e9cnicas y puedan as\u00ed <strong>intercambiar pr\u00e1cticas con el equipo quir\u00fargico<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Para colocar una pr\u00f3tesis de tobillo es necesaria una <strong>operaci\u00f3n quir\u00fargica para sustituir as\u00ed la articulaci\u00f3n del tobillo, siempre y cuando \u00e9sta se encuentre da\u00f1ada<\/strong>. Hoy en d\u00eda las pr\u00f3tesis de tobillo se componen de tres elementos, uno superior que se fija en la <strong>tibia<\/strong>, otro inferior que lo hace en el <strong>astr\u00e1galo<\/strong> (ambos de titanio) y otra pieza intermedia de <strong>polietileno<\/strong> que es el que permite el desplazamiento y los movimientos de flexi\u00f3n y extensi\u00f3n, fundamentales en el tobillo.<\/p>\n<p>Estas pr\u00f3tesis colocadas en el tobillo posibilitan a los pacientes un mejor funcionamiento, favoreciendo de esta manera una pronta recuperaci\u00f3n y ofreciendo una flexibilidad adicional en la zona intervenida.
